Q: How do I clean my Beeswax Food Wraps?
Q: How long do they last?
Q: What can I use them for?
Beeswax wraps are best used anywhere you would have previously used plastic wrap. Half an onion, end of a cucumber, block of cheese, or covering plates and bowls of leftovers. And this brings up more quesitons, like …. “does the onion smell gets stuck on the wrap?” No…it washes right of with soap and water. Flat wraps are a great alternative to plastic wrap.Leabee Bags are a great alternative to ziploc bags, providing reusable, washable storage for all your snacks, fruits, trail mix, muffins, sandwiches….whatever you would normally take along for the day.
Leabee PRODUCE bags are an amazing option for keeping your produce fresh longer in the fridge. Place a head of lettuce, broccoli/cauliflower, herbs (think parsley/ cilantro) or mushrooms for example in the bags and enjoy fresh veggies for longer.
Q: How do I know when they are “done”?
You will have about a year and a half to get used to how well our products work, they will slowly wear down over time, when it comes to a point where you are no longer happy with how they are working….that is when they are “done”
Q: What do I do with my old wraps?
Great question! all our wraps are biodegradable, this means you can either cut them into strips and compost them, use them as firestarters (my personal favorite) or rewax them using our diy kits.
